No worries,
Although there is rumor that Black and White Super 8 is also prone to the recent defects, it is only the Kodachrome 40 color stock that is apparantly affected. I just ordered some Ektachrome from Kodak today, I don't think we have anything to worry about. Do we?

No rumor, home boy. The OTHER feature that we transferred before your job was all Tri-X and I would say about 50% of it had the jitters. It is a problem with the carts, regardless of the film that is in them. Supposedly the new carts for this year are okay but I wait to see what people have to say that have actually used them.
How's editing going, by the way?

Hey Rog,
Editing is going swell, and boy do we need more footage transferred! After putting it all together we have some serious gaps in our line of storytelling and I would say that eight rolls are probably a good estimate on what we have to do still. Now that you put it in perspective, I think all our shots will be locked off by a tripod. I have tried the image stabilizer in Final Cut Pro and it works like a charm as long as the camera doesn't move. We will be talking soon regarding our final transfer footage. I think our film is definately festival material. Lets talk business!
